As we come to the end of the year I thought I’d review this blog and some of our highlights.
So where to start? Let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start according to the Sound of Music song!)… in our review of the year it would be remiss to fail to mention that this blog started this year with a post on 26th April – simply titled Hello (just testing it worked!) with the explanation about why I was starting this new blog on 28th April.
The new website was launched on 5th May as a celebration of Littlesheep Learning‘s 6th Birthday and we blogged about that too! We continue to attract sales despite the recession and hit our target number of orders before the end of the year – so all being well we shall reach our 7th birthday and many more in the future.
Probably the most exciting thing to happen this year was in October when I was picked as one of Jacqueline Gold’s #WOW winners such an exiciting day and one which gained me lots of new friends and followers on twitter.
Over the year we’ve posted 195 posts (including one for every day in November as part of NaBloPoMo) and had 169 comments. The most commented on blog post was our Silent Sunday picture – Drawing in the Dirt and the most read post was Going on a Bear Hunt Walk. What is your favourite post from the last year?
What does 2012 hold in store for Littlesheep Learning? Well for the business itself hopefully more customers and some exciting new product lines and for this blog there will be even more learning activity ideas, product reviews, competitions, education news and information about life as a mumpreneur.
In the meantime, I’d like to thank all our customers and those who have recommended Littlesheep Learning to their colleagues, friends and family, everyone who has been reading this blog (especially those who have added a comment or two) and those who have supported me in other ways this year. I’d also like to thank everyone who likes us on Facebook and follows us on Twitter and to wish you all have a very Happy New Year, may 2012 be a happy and healthy new year for you and your loved ones.
